"Green Tara" - female Buddha

The Green Tara is depicted sitting on a lotus flower emerging from a lake, as it is said that she emerged from the tears of Avalokiteshvara. His right hand does the "mudra of giving", indicating its ability to give all beings what they need, while your left hand placed in his heart does the "mudra of giving refuge." Each hand holds the stem of a lotus flower with an open flower and two buttons that indicate the scope of its activity in the past, present and future. The shortened left leg on the lotus flower indicating their renunciation of worldly passions, the extended right leg and out of the flower, indicates its readiness to respond and help all beings.
